WE NEED YOUR HELP
TO KEEP OUR COMMUNITY ALIVE
Galapagos depends 100% on the mainland to survive economically, so the COVID crisis has an immense impact here.
Today, we support a network of more than 200 families - between our MUYU team, small family farmers, fishermen, artisans and suppliers. For many families, MUYU provides their only income.
We are lucky to be a COVID-FREE island, but until tourists return we cannot make a living. Without any financial support, we would be forced to close our doors putting an end to our many projects.

A pioneer Farm, Forest and Sea to Table restaurant in the Galapagos Islands
MUYU means ‘seeds’ in the Kichwa language, and the menu pays homage to the producers and the citizens of Galapagos.
From San Cristobal, MUYU chefs source the best organic vegetables, fruits and foraged herbs available. They avoid ordering unnecessary products from the mainland to reduce carbon emissions and to support local farmers, artisans and fishermen.
MUYU is a pilot program of Galapagos Foundation. Education is at the heart of this gastronomic project empowering youngsters and women towards a more ethical, sustainable, humane career.
